CLEAN AIR IN THE PIT

The way into the depth is connected with dangers.

Pressure flashing in well pits as well as in ventilation pits can set free high quantities
of CO2.

Concentrations of ? 5 vol% CO2 in the air lead to a dimming of consciousness,
to unconsciousness and death. Not to speak of the dangers which can arise from
a nearby and probably defective gas pipeline. In close spaces natural ventilation is
not sufficient.

Therefore it is of great importance to provide the pit with clean and fresh air before
getting into it. There is an efficient solution of this problem: SEWERIN FLIS®.
